CBT helps you recognize and change the thought patterns that influence your emotions and behaviors. If you feel stuck in anxiety, self-doubt, or overwhelming emotions, this approach helps you see the connection between your thoughts and how you feel. But therapy with me isn’t just about talking—it’s about doing. Together, we’ll challenge old narratives, reframe unhelpful thinking, and build practical strategies to help you feel more in control and aligned with yourself.
Hypnotherapy allows us to access the deeper layers of your mind—the ones driving your emotions, behaviors, and patterns in ways you may not even realize. In a safe and focused state, we work together to explore the beliefs and experiences that have shaped you. This isn’t about losing control or being "put under"—you’re fully aware the whole time. It’s about creating the space for real healing, helping you process emotions at a core level, and shifting the unconscious patterns that have been holding you back.
The beliefs shaping your life today often started long before you realized it. As children, we make unconscious decisions about ourselves—“I have to be perfect,” “I don’t deserve love,” “I’m not enough”—based on our experiences. These beliefs might have helped you cope then, but they aren’t serving you now. Re-Decision Therapy helps us go back, uncover where these patterns started, and rewrite them. This work isn’t just about insight—it’s about creating deep emotional shifts so you can finally break free from old cycles and step into a more empowered version of yourself.
Struggling with sleep isn’t just frustrating—it affects everything. If you have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up feeling rested, there’s more to it than just “bad sleep habits.” Stress, anxiety, and even past experiences can keep your nervous system on high alert, making real rest feel impossible. I help you uncover what’s disrupting your sleep and use a combination of cognitive techniques, breathwork, and nervous system regulation to help you reset. Sleep isn’t a luxury—it’s essential to your well-being, and together, we’ll get you the rest your body and mind need.
Finding the right therapist is important, and I want you to feel confident in your decision. This free 15-minute consultation is where we begin—no pressure, no commitment, just a space to connect. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, explore how I work, and see if we’re the right fit.
Taking the first step can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. This consultation is an opportunity to ask questions, get a sense of my approach, and decide what feels right for you. If we move forward, we’ll create a plan that meets your needs and go at a pace that works for you.
Please note: I can generally begin seeing patients within about three months of initial contact. A 15-minute phone consultation is required before I add you to my waiting list.

While psychotherapy is meant to help you take control of your life and feel better over time, it does come with certain risks. I will be asking you to take a look at your behaviors, thoughts, feelings, and (possibly painful) past so that we can identify origins of your struggles and heal your deep-seated wounds. This may be uncomfortable, and even difficult, but we would be in constant communication during session to be sure we are not causing you harm.
Will psychotherapy make me more sad, stressed, or anxious?
No, I do not prescribe or manage medications. If you are wanting to try behavioral and cognitive approaches to your problems before beginning medications, we can discuss the potential risks and benefits of that. If your symptoms are particularly severe, I may require to to start medication before we work together so that you may benefit from therapy.
Do you/psychologists prescribe medications?
In hypnotherapy, we work to replace negative thought patterns with positive ones. Much of our suffering comes from unconscious beliefs, past experiences, and suppressed emotions that shape how we think, feel, and act. By adulthood, these patterns persist like ingrained habits. Since the mind is highly suggestible in a hypnotic state, we can address these patterns at their source, making change happen more quickly. While shifts may not be immediate, consistent practice of the techniques I teach will lead to noticeable transformation.
How does hypnotherapy work?
If you feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, hypnotherapy may help. You might experience persistent anxiety, tension, or a sense of overwhelm that’s hard to shake. Struggles in relationships—whether with family, friends, or partners—can leave you feeling unseen, unappreciated, or disconnected.
Hypnotherapy works by accessing the deeper layers of your mind, helping you break free from unconscious patterns and emotional blocks. If you’re ready to explore a different way forward, this approach could be a powerful tool for change.
Would I benefit from hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy may not be the right fit if you have a history of severe trauma, certain personality disorders, or have not had previous psychotherapy experience. Before beginning hypnotherapy, we will spend the first 3 to 4 sessions as a treatment trial to assess whether this approach is appropriate for you based on your background, ego strength, and therapy history. In some cases, we may begin with traditional psychotherapy sessions to establish a strong foundation before integrating hypnotherapy into our work together.
I am not the right fit if you have been diagnosed with, or suspect you may have, a personality disorder such as paranoid, schizoid, schizotypal, antisocial, borderline, histrionic, narcissistic, or avoidant personality disorder.
How would I know if hypnotherapy is NOT for me?
It’s important to share your reactions to treatment and to me, no matter how irrational they may seem. If you ever feel the need to pause therapy, simply raise your hand and say, “One, two, three, stop,” and express what’s happening—we can gain valuable insight from your responses, dreams, and resistance.
Many patients find that the more they embrace the weird, the easier the process becomes. Even if something feels strange, wrong, or insignificant, share it—everything that comes from your unconscious mind is valuable, and I never judge it.
